A Global initiative

I propose that, across the globe, we dedicate one day each year to Laughter and Amusement. Starting at a specific place (International Date Line?, Prime Meridian?) at a specific time (Noon?) on a specific day (April 1st?, January 1st?) all the people in that initial time zone spend an hour in the amusement of their choice. As the designated hour passes from one timezone to the next, each succeeding set of global citizens would take up the mantle of fun and amusement. The goal is to create a wave of laughter following the Sun around the world like the wave at a football game or soccer match, Might be just the remedy we need.

We could call it 'Mirth Day'!!
